The sad fact is that Obama was never really aware of how wealth is produced, and as such, he's only too willing too kill production with taxation in order to pay for his "wipe out worldwide poverty" campaign. He wants that golden calf, but he's more than ready to slice the cow's throat to do it.
He'd be far better off actually enforcing existing tax laws that the wealthy blatantly escape as a matter of course. Of course, that would take hard-nosed discipline on his part, which is not his style.
