There are a lot of conspiracyfags who oppose the treaty, but Ireland is a country that accepted the euro and the treaty allows provisions for member states whom do not wish to entirely comply with the constitution so it cannot be said the majority are irrationally nationalistic or fearful of losing sovereignty.
