So Dodge wants to sell you a car you don’t really want to buy, that is not fuel-efficient, will further damage our environment, and will further subsidize oil states, some of which are on the other side of the wars we’re currently fighting.
The planet be damned, the troops be forgotten, the economy be ignored: buy a Dodge.
I'm no fan of the auto companies, but I feel the unseemly compulsion to point out that Dodge isn't going door to door, rousting people out of their beds at gunpoint at three in the morning, forcing them to buy these ridiculous land-yachts with guns to their heads.
I loathe the goddamn things, but soccer moms and bald obese middle-aged men love SUVs. If nobody bought them, the auto makers would stop manufacturing them. If they thought there was more money in subcompact cars, or, hell, toaster-ovens, they'd make those instead. They don't build SUVs because the CEO thinks they look cool, they build them because people buy them.

American cars don't use fuel, they have a special mechanism that burns the fuel without getting it to the engine.
