There's no reason to show that as "invalid" for the following reasons:

1. There's nothing wrong with the Democratic Party platform of 74. Nixon was office. He was a Republican. 'Nuff said.

2. Obama's positions differ from that platform in many areas. Some of those areas are obvious, but you don't know that because you didn't click on the link to read what he's about in the first place.

3. Republicans don't get to frame the argument in a time where they've given us 8 years of pure fail. Obama isn't answerable to McCain. Bush, Cheney, McCain and everyone in that administration is answerable to us and our representative.
