4chan is dead and plus4chan is played out. Name some decent, active forums on the subject of news/politics that I could visit. Important things to consider:
1. Diversity of opinion. I don't want to post on the 100% libfag or the 100% conservitard boards. Also no stormfags.
2. Not everyone has to be smart. Boards seem to be better when they're not a bunch of academic grad student people bickering over detail-oriented insular type shit no one cares about.
3. They have to be semi-active.
I leave it to you!

Your demands expose you as an idiot. Did you know this?
Who the hell wants to browse "civilized" boards anyway, with bullshit moderate views and political correctness? You can find those opinions in any newspaper. It's more fun to browse extremist boards. For a more balanced view the Telegraph and other British newspaper websites usually have lengthy discussions/comments after their stories.

Extremists do not necessarily have to be retarded, however, your examples seem to be.

This board is actually more productive than anything else you will find on the internet or in real life, unless you are easily trolled. No one here cares about society's shit, if someone was going to whine about something here they'd be whining about the multitudes of bigots and trolls. Furthermore due to the amount of trolling going on, criticism has reached an apex whereby in order to troll someone you need to make an in depth psychological analysis that will grab the victim's subconscious by the balls rathher than just "GOD EXISTS PROVE ME WRONG" or some other shit. That said most subjects begin with a troll and subsequent posters sidestep it and turn into a fruitful discussion.
