Why does the US support Israel?

I can't think of any advantages to the US supporting Israel, but I can think of a whole bunch of disadvantages.

Israel is a terrorist and nuclear-weapon-owning state in the Middle East what has not only attacked other nations with impunity but has ALSO committed several acts of war upon the USA (stealing fissionables, and attacking the USS Liberty).  But the USA continues to lavish praise and assistance upon such a nation.

I'm not exaggerating at all about the influence of Jewry in the USA.  The clear problem here is your fucking DENIAL of that influence.  Your media, corporations and classrooms are dominated by Jewish professionals, and what do you know? -- they tend to support ISRAEL.
