How to be a Conservative in Three Easy Steps

1. If you're in a debate with a liberal about a government program, just say "It's not the government's role to XXX" and go back to gay fucking in the airport bathroom with the confidence that you won the argument.

2. Say you're against government spending but support the full $750,000,000,000 annual pentagon budget which is over 2/3rds of discretionary spending.  Also buy a yellow ribbon car magnet from the Wal-Mart bargain bin when the war with Iran starts.

3. Whine about minorities at every opportunity and wonder out loud why there can't be a white history month.

that's pretty much it.  #1 and #2 covered 90% of it anyway.

Your grossly over-simplified concept of "conservative" shows just how little you know or are willing to learn about ideas that aren't perfectly inline with your own.  Had you said Neo-conservative your post would be a bit more accurate.
