Americans can't locate the US in a World Map

Name: Anonymous 2008-01-31 8:07

Recent polls have shown that a fifth of the Americans can't locate the U.S. in a World Map. Why is this so?

I personally believe that US Americans are unable to do so because, uh, some people out there in our nation don't have maps, and I believe that our education, like such as South Africa and the Iraq, everywhere like such as, and I believe that they should -- our education over here in the US should help the US -- or should help South Africa and should help the Iraq and the Asian countries, so we will be able to build up our future for our children.

Or maybe it's because that a fifth of the Americans are kids.
Anyway, it's the same as everywhere.
German teenagers don't know much about geography either since it's somewhat unapplicable.
Without a drivers license or simply the ability to travel by yourself greopraphy is of little to no use to you.

Who needs to know anything?

1) I'm American and can locate the U.S., together with every country in the world on a World Map.
2) Eurofags cannot locate American states on a U.S. or World Map (in case, of course, they are not written on the map) At least 99.9% of them can't. Maybe even 100%, but that'd be pushing it.
3) There are at least 100 times more Americans who can locate all European countries on a World map than eurofags who can locate half our states.
Prove me fucking wrong.

Europeans can at least locate a dozen US states. How many Americans can locate just one European province.department?

Go fuck yourself. By locate I actually mean locate, point where it is on a fucking map. Eurofaggots have no clue, yes, they can name some states because -- wait for it -- they worship our television programs (though they hate us)... but further than that, I doubt it.
How many Americans can locate just one European province.department?
Probably most can locate the province of Northern Ireland. You're comparing apples and oranges here though.

You're the one that started comparing states with countries. Don't they teach the difference in the US? lol

This thread will become a collection of excuses for Eurofags not to know U.S. states while demanding Americans to know Eurofag countries.
By the way, just out of curiosity, if I'd ask you to locate the U.S. on the map, would you sincerely point out the federal district, or just the huuuuuuuge area that's so easy for eurofags to find? Because only the former answer would be technically correct.

I'm not an American, I know geography.

Americans, especially the Irish-Americans who don't know shit about Ireland can't locate Ireland on a map.

Name: Anonymous 2008-02-02 15:04

Face it, Americans are ignorant and rude.
