I'm somewhat skeptical of the EU myself, although it is far, far better than US politics and the general ignorance that invariably encompasses.
At least the EU isn't as cynical and has a real chance of building a better future for itself, when the US has just resigned itself (in 2000 it was one of the greatest countries ever) to decades of economic problems from its recent binge in economic/fiscal policy and foreign policy and also with pathetic public services
But the EU will never be a sovereign state, so it is still prone to national conflicts from within

The EU was originally a bureaucracy that lubricated cross border trade, now it's trying to sink it's teeth into different country's constitutions and laws and bully other countries into adopting their currency, stupid ass regulations and paying billions of euros to fund it all. No one is "against" the EU, just it's faggotry. It needs an overhaul.

The EU will be much like the US, only not as rich, and a much bigger of a pussy.

I wholeheartedly agree. You need to be EDUCATED in order to accept/support it, because it's not a decision that comes out of reason. The propaganda is working, European libfags cluster like the sheep they are in supporting it.
Can you fail any harder?
European leftists constantly complain about the EU being too neoliberal.

Can you? They still support it due to its globalist implications and due to the facts that the urge to support it is literately taught in schools.
Indeed. The EU is the precursor to the Socialist One World Government.

The EU is terrible. So many people throughout history have tried to invade Europe through military means. Charlemange, Louis XIV, Napoléon, Adolf Hitler. And here all these countries are giving their sovereignty away to Germany and France out of their own free wills. Incredible.
In philosophy, I support EU fully, including the whole constitution etc. crap - a European superstate would indeed be nice, and the stuff we are paying to the eastern euros etc. would pay off that way.
The problem is, the leaders of the countries - while moving for this, are still not thinking this way. I'm not in favor of EU gaining more power until the French/German dictate ends. Funnily, Turkish accession might provide a good way out of this, due to the sheer amount of unwashed masses...
