I wouldn't call British people white, they have very little in common with North German/Scandinavian people. The vast majority of Britons are of dubious origin (Celtic+Roman).

Celtic Roman? They werent 'Celtic' really before the Romans invaded, and the Romans didnt colonise, mostly just took over (Adopting Roman customs made them 'Roman' in a cultural sense, not racially). The Angles, Saxons and various Scandinavians on the other hand did. Or are you wanting to include all of the other groups whom invaded England? The Normans or the Dutch? Also, Germany and Scandinavia's population does not make up 9% of the worlds population anyway and arent the most powerful groups in the world anyway (Germany is up there, but Sweden, Norway and Denmark arent). 'White' in immediate terms refers to North Germans (Also people of Nordic descent) and British people and the groups you get from them (Canadians, Americans, etc). This would mean that by your definition the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand arent white, which I think will anger a fair few people.

This is not exactly on topic but the theory that English are all Anglo-Saxon, and Scots, Welsh and Irish are Celts is outdated. Brits are almost exactly the same ethnically.

Most people seem to think Nordics are the superior Whites but this isn't backed up by the evidence. Brits have been the elite Whites of the last 1000 years. From Charles Murray's Human Accomplishment the raw amount of "significant figures" in science, technology, arts, literature goes Britain > Germany > France > Italy. Note this is despite Brits being outnumbered by Germans. Also many of the Germans listed are Jews.

Scandinavians are not as well represented as you would think. The Spanish are the true niggers of Western Europe with a large population and not much to show for it. Eastern Europe fails of course.

It's interesting to see Scots are perhaps the highest represented in accomplishment relative to their population (only 5 million people and a huge amount of scientific discovery), but this is from my own guesswork, Murray doesn't seem to try and adjust for population.

This is debatable since France > Germany in literature but Germany > France in science. Germany is second only to Britain in scientific acheivement (arguable better). Interesting, Britain isn't really superior in any single category but most would agree they've had the best mix of talent across science, literature and the arts.

But this is all off topic. Racially whites are now very diverse, from jews ('whites' by some definitions) to halfies across south america and an increasing mix of people in general. Several of my friends are half bred anglo-celtic australians, to give another example.

OP, we make up more than 9%, but you're essentially correct that we are elite. Only because Africa and Asia (overall, due to it's massive population itself) can't get their act together.
That is, overpopulation is a major cause of their squalour troubles as societies, not so much exploitation IMO

Just look at Africa. Over 60 years ago, they left European possession. And now what? It's a hotbed of religious turmoil, corrupt and inefficient governments that quite honestly are not as capable as some of the former colonial governments (which were themselves terrible, so that's really saying a lot) and AIDS (literally speaking)
A main cause for all of this has been reckless, runaway, unmanaged population growth. This is why we still appear as an elite. We have governments, that, for all their shortcomings, still essentially know what they are doing. Unlike Zimbabwe or Bangladesh.
