#1 was right. Red dawn was a movie but is now Real life.  We were a super power, but now, just hanging on, in hopes that china, the real superpower, doesn't cash in our stocks and bonds, in short, sending America into another depression.

Only the US state owes China, not the US people. When the US starts raising taxes to pay China off then there will be calls to disband the state and sell it off to private enterprises, then we won't owe China anything because the American people were providing China with the capital and expertise for their little economic boom and it'll all cancel out.
