The reason our teachers suck is, as it stands they're practically guaranteed work. If we didn't have bullshit like tenure teachers would actually be responsible for what they do in the class room. They would have to really work and produce results to keep their jobs *gasp* like any other real job. Of course, teachers won't work hard if there's no incentive, but with school choice there is incentive. Amazing concept isn't it? Teachers get paid more for producing students who aren't retarded.
