lets be honest about Israel

1) most israelis are racist.  something like 80% of them are "deeply troubled" over the idea of living next to an arab. 

2) israel is anti-democratic.  most israeli arabs can't vote, challenge the idea of a Jewish state, intermarry, own land in Jewish areas or even live and work in Jewish areas

3) israel is a leech.  it has the highest aid to GDP ratio of any first world nation

4) israel is militant.  look up the uss liberty on google.  or the ratio of civilian deaths.

It would be nice if Israel could exist without having to blow the ever loving shit out of its neighbours. But that whole "Israel should be wiped of the map" spouted by some of the countries around them and the fact most of their history consisted of them being conquered by other countries has got to foster some level of xenophobia within the populace. Not that it's much justification for shit like what they did to Lebannon(sp?).

Considering how many centruies the area is being fought over I highly doubt there will ever be peace there. Well unless everyone living there kills everyone else there.
