Obama says religion has place in politics

Name: Anonymous 2007-10-15 14:35

"Doing the Lord's work is a thread that runs through our politics since the very beginning," Obama said in a speech to United Church of Christ's Iowa conference.

"And it puts the lie to the notion that separation of church and state in America means somehow that faith should have no role in public life," Obama said.

"But somehow, somewhere along the way, faith stopped being used to bring us together and started being used to drive us apart. It got hijacked," Obama said, drawing applause from the delegates. "Part of it is because the so-called leaders of the Christian right are all too eager to exploit what divides us."

"I don't know what Bible they're reading. But it didn't jibe with my version," Obama said.

"My faith teaches me that I can sit in church and pray all I want, but I won't be fulfilling God's will unless I go out and do the lord's work," Obama said.

He lost my vote, even though I never planned on voting for him, or even live in the right country.

But I can't imagine this being such a clever thing for him to say.

Guess I'm just hoping your country is a tad bit more modern than countries where religion is a part of politics, like some random sand nigger country.

That's a really fat godpenis that Obama was a-suckin' there, wasn't it?  Whore.  Of course, to court the Black Vote™, any politician has to suck godcock to get along.  Blacks are as fucking god-crazy as they come.

Is atheism fashionable among the white bread boys with smooth palms these days?

It's interesting how your so casually scornful, especially since the church has been the only institution that has consistently and substantively supported blacks since the end of the civil war.  Maybe secularism isn't all its cracked up to be hmmm...?

Blacks need to work and save in order to gain the prosperity they need to lift their race out of perpetual poverty in the USA.  Their strong religious trend is only keeping them "niggers in the ghetto".  Clue, jerkwad:  Religion feeds off of Human misery.  All those priests in the Black community are like ticks.  They NEED Blacks to remain a permanent underclass in order to keep feeding.

And ... smooth palm?  Fuck you, my palms are scarred by work.  Your face looks like your ass, and considering what comes out of your mouth, that's hardly surprising.

RedCream, you're such a moron.  You never make an argument, all your posts are a series of baseless assertions.  The average black church has done more to lift people out of poverty than you have.  As to your scarred palms, masturbation doesn't count as work!

W-T-F!  The average Black church is surrounded by Blacks in deep poverty.  What did the fucking church lift them out of?  The fucking Australian Outback?  Hunting and gathering?

DO YOU EVER LEAVE YOUR WHITEBREAD SUBURBIA ZONE TO SEE THAT!?!?

Most black organisations are retarded, but "black" churches not only have a much better reputation they actually have reasonable methods of solving problems, if it doesn't concern faith of course.

Leftist black organisations.
1: Tell blacks the rest of society is isolated from them and there is no opint in participating as they will always be at a disadvantage.
2: Subscribe to marxist, darwinian and fascist ideologies to varying degrees.
3: View democracy as a weakness to be exploited rather than a means of representation.
4: Heavy use of apologetic arguments, groupthink, emotive language and double standards to warp judgement.

Black churches.
1: Encourage participation outside of the black community affirming that it is part of America. Do not consider non-blacks to be outsiders.
2: Only subscribes to the teachings of Jesus Christ, at most comparing socialist ideals to Jesus' teachings.
3: View democracy as a fundamental element of our society that prevents tyranny and worth protecting.
4: Concerning politics, possesses only a slight left slant and does not use extremist tactics and is capable of self-criticism. Indeed people usually go to church to be told "We are all sinners. Oh lord forgive us!".

Where you FAIL is in your refusal to recognize that "leftist black organizations" are often religious in scope and support, making them just another arm of the overall religious organizations that continue to keep ol' Buckwheat nappy, illiterate, ghetto-talkin' and of course POORER THAN SHIT.

Blacks would do well to ditch ALL that stupid religious bullshit and start thinking about fending for themselves.  To achieve that, they need to work hard, be collectivist in their community, and save money like fiends.  Without those strengths, they'll just continue to be bottled up in Niggervilles across America ... all lorded over by Black organizations that are largely religious.

Religion has its place in politicians, not in politics.
