A student in my World Geology class submitted a story that was more or less like this.

some asshole: "No guns. Let's declare martial law"

Citizen: "Fuck that! *Reaches in an empty gun holster* Oh shit!"

Citizen 2:"It's okay, we'll do some form of peaceful protest or vote or something..."

asshole 2: "PATRIOT ACT+HR6166,BITCHES!"

Citizen 3: "We didn't read iether of those, they're like a million pages. Fill me in?"

Asshole: "Basically, as of now, you say anything I don't like, you're a terrorist. You go to court and be found not guilty, and we can still legaly hold you for life, just because we feel like it"

Citizen 3: "Oshitson wut do wii do lol?!"

Citizen 2: "Lol i dunno"

Citizen 1: "It's citizen 4's fault. If we had guns we could rebel or something. Oh well."

Citizen 4: "Fuck you."

Citizen 5: "I tould you this was gonna happen >.>"

The odds of such a thing happening are slim beyond belief, but better safe than sorry.
