Regardless of whether or not they are overpaid, teachers should have to compete for their jobs and deal with natural market forces like competition just like everyone else does. Schools and their administration should as well. Competition makes things better. It forces companies and enterprises (such as schools) to offer people better deals and better products and services. The solution to our education issues is School Choice, not more funding for education. See video below:
