Believe it or not I talked to George Soros. 3 years or so ago I sent him and e-mail saying that I was also interested in critical thought and had a few ideas he might be interested in and he responded and told me he understood what I meant but that I should take college courses in these things if just to get the reputation and skills with dialogue in such things. At the time I didn't realise he was a billionaire, an enormous Jew and a marxist, which is probably why he responded because I'm not some fag whining like a pussy for money, however now that I am a little older and wiser I am faced with dilemma.
I am 22 and he is 77, I am a libertarian and he is a marxist. After reading his articles on why he believes certain elements of capitalism are so evil I find myself strongly disagreeing and the motivation to expend effort teaching him the error of his ways. On the other hand he'll be dead soon so there is no point. I am reluctant to exploit his celebrity to advertise my opinion as it would jinx the relationship we have.
