Bottom line is it made life better for Africans and at least gave them some kind of civilization. It's a sad thing that it's seen as evil. Most of the Whites that lived in Africa had good intentions.

They only cared about themselves, just like everyone else does. Can we please put the old imperial British "bringing civilization to the rest of the world" mantra to rest? It's pure rationalization.
