Credit where it's due, the OP started off postulating by implication that "liberals" are largely constrained to being urban hippies handing out leaflets to yuppies and other hippies.  That started the thread out with MAXIFAIL.  It should logically follow that fail will continue to be ladled out in quantity.

To address the argument -- such as it is -- there are enough Liberals in suits and ties ripping everyone off to qualify Liberals as being in as much command of economics as anyone.
