Radical Islam is a threat, but nowhere near the threat posed by Western Imperialism.

Since the West can't peaceably occupy and rule Iraq, what do you think will happen?  Yes, a Saigon Moment™ will occur.  The West will have to leave Iraq nyway ... so why not do it now with dignity and before many thousands more die?

The west isn't imperialist. Look at Japan. Did we enslave them after we conquerred them? No.
