Drop affirmative action.

We need the best person for the job, not hand out jobs to tokens in order to mask racism. Discrimination is either due to dehumanisation or corruption both of which affirmative action makes even worse, it serves the marxist streak and their unrealistic social initiatives that still plague our society even though the cold war should have ended 18 years ago. I present to the liberal fanatics a replacement policy that is superior to affirmative action in principle and ensures that the best person gets the job.

A comprehensive job management service in conjunction with unions which reviews prospective employee's skills and employer's demands to spot unusual decisions. With this in place, instances of discrimination are easier to spot and more evidence is available for discrimination claims. Prospective employees who do not they have been discriminated against will be discoverred by the service and informed.

The best person gets the job and overall efficiency increases, particular in executive positions where intelligence and decision making skills can affect entire companies.

This policy makes it very difficult to discriminate. Irrelevant specifics (which university they went to etc..) would not count as qualifications making it impossible for an employer to tailor his demands to an individual.

This policy has a positive effect on inter-ethnic inter-religious and inter-cultural relations. There is no longer any doubt over a person's abilities, one major element of work bullying is constant belittle criticism for small mistakes we all make time to time. With tokenism out of the way there is less of a reason to blow another employee's mistakes out of proportion.

No free ride for inner city black youths. The black community has strived to get it's youths out of ridiculous gang cultures and into valuing education like asians, yet they fail to see that affirmative action and other racist policies are what makes them feel as though the rest of society is against them and they are better off isolated from the rest of the world in their "gangsta" clique. This is the result of marxists attempting to exploit the black community to "FITE DA POWAH" at the expense of their youth. With affirmative action replaced by proper civil rights enforcement they can feel like TRUE AMERICANS again instead of "hoods" or "bloods" or whatever.

i agree , affirmative action is basically the government telling blacks and other minorities that they are too weak, stupid and incompetent to stand on their own two feet.

It's astonishing that we've tolerated affirmative action for this long.  That it still persists after decades of operation without significantly improving what racial inequity existed, is not only shameful for America but contradicts itself in the first place.  GET FUCKING RID OF AFFIRMATIVE ACTION (I.E. RACISM).

>>2 has his finger on the pulse of the problem, too; AA only tells Blacks they are inferior and have nothing to count on but government welfare of all kinds in order to attain prosperity.

Let's begin by getting rid of that affirmative action supreme court judge. The one who thinks he got there on merit.

Firstly, I think that Affirmative action should be dependent on economical status alone. Let's give a hypothetical situation. You are a college entrance examiner. You have two applications: a kid who got a 1550 on his SATs after having a tutor, and retaking the exam 3 times. On the other hand, you have a kid who simply took the SATs once and got a 1550. Who would you choose? It's a fact that rich kids have an easier time to earn better scores, so isn't it logical that you should give poorer people a push?

how bout we all build robots to do all the work, so we don't have to do shit but enjoy life? or is that to much of a dream? i don't know about you, but I'm more scared of humans with projectiles then robots without projectiles.
We get a menu every week with a set number of credits
buy things from food to cars. you can not save or trade credits, if you try, you will not be able to buy anything but food and liquids for a set number of weeks. Depending on how old you are the more you can afford. there will still be human run buissness, and food retails, but we allow bots to fight wars, save people in burning buildings and continue to do what they do today. Law will be human, but jails will change drastically.

In order to provide extra opportunities for one irrelevant demographic (by means other than enhancing the economy) you have to take from others. Losing employment or education opportunities due to racial discrimination is just as dehumanising and thieving as losing opportunities due to "positive discrimination". The most qualified person for the position ought to be employed regardless of how many previous opportunities they have had or what ethnic, gender or religious group they are from.

Why would there be a revolution? The replacement I suggested fulfils all the requirements affirmative action set out to do without any of the draw backs and the added bonus of making it easier to detect discrimination and provide evidence to support charges of discrimination. Granted there would be a revolution of some sorts in the basements of marxist pseudo-intellectuals involving a fleshlight and communist furry doujins, but secretly they'd be happier knowing they have something else to whine about to take their minds off their virginity.

That situation is not affirmative action. If someone has to retake an exam it naturally goes against them. If the poor kid scored 1500 and the rich kid scored 1550, then it means the rich kid is capable of getting a 1550 aswell as being better educated. Perhaps if the poor kid had the same opportunities he/she would have done better than the rich kid, but that didn't happen.
