Not just because they impose some useless commodity or service on me either.
Why do I hate Advertisements? Because every person or family represented in them are so generic and bland and stupid and ignorant and clueless and full of mediocrity or either extreme extremity I can't bear to watch anymore.
I'm sick and tired of people presenting themselves as "HYUP! I'M UR AVERAGE STOOPID CUSTOMER GETTIN' A TOTALLY AWESOME SERVICE." When will we as consumers of these advertisements get someone with a sound head and realistic expectations of the product and or service?
Something to the effect of -- "Hey, I'm looking for __________, you got any of those? Oh, ok thanks." As opposed to "WOW HI KIDS HI WIFE AREN'T _______ TOTALLY EXXXXXXTREME AND OR AWESOME AND WE CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT IT AND I JUST LOVE THE _____(Car, Product, Whatever)________."
Fucking shit sucks. Present realistic expectations and people, don't present them as John Doe the dumbass (non-intentionally) or Jane Doe the vapid vixen.
