Now that the cold war is over, Israel has become a strategic liability.
Whatever minor benefits Israel offers other countries are completely outweighed by the costs - both in actual dollar amount and in the strained relationships with the more critical, oil producing interests in the Middle East.
Add to these premises the fact that Amnesty International gives Israel a failing grade on human rights.
And you have the unavoidable conclusion that Zionism makes no sense.
