The Chinese Apocalypse is Coming

Gentlemen, consider this. 

There are almost as many Chinese internet users as American ones. 
Except China still has 80% of its population to hook up to the internet, far outnumbering Americans even if we were all INTERNET EXPERTS.

In 20 years, the Chinese will be everywhere.  They'll penetrate into foreign sites, with their godless heathen language. 

Imagine this:  You're on 4chan.  You make a post, 5 Chinese people disagree with you.  Half the boards and forums are full of Chinese, with their strange foreign memes and pop culture. 

Americans, being confident and short-sighted, envision an English speaking internet for the future.  But in reality the Internet will be dominated by China with sheer numbers.

What will the internet become?  Discuss.

How many times has a stray Chinese person wandered into a beloved thread of yours and started babbling jibberish, hoping someone would babble back?

Remember, the internet is something that's being shaped by it's own growth.  More Chinese users doesn't mean 4chan is flouded with Chinese users, it means more Chinese users are using the Chinese version of 4chan, whatever form it takes.

The Chinese have their own equivalent to eBay, it's own chatrooms, own websites...

Worst case of yellow fear I've ever seen...
