Do you find it O.K for companies to force you into terrible agreements with expensive products or things that you can't actually disagree with?

Example, Microwave companies saying that they should not be held responsible if it blows up upon purchase (exageration). so that you lose out just because there is no alternative.

Or parking lots saying it is not there responsibility if your car is broken into, when it is there responsibility as they provide the service.

Personally it seems like laws that companies make to keep you in place like they are becoming there own government. This whole warranty business comes off as being awfully corrupt. It's also so that whenever I sign an agreement for the government or for a company it feels as though I have sold a part of myself because I am becoming a part of them.

You have to be careful about what you're defining, OP.  Whether or not your care is broken into, a parking space is provided and it remains parked.  This is true even in your own driveway or on the street.  You really have to stop thinking that providers of services are responsible for more than what they clearly provided.

True, there is a lot of corporate weaseling out there, where the companies try to escape a sensible modicum of responsibility.  But in many cases, you don't have to buy the product or service, at least from that provider.  Vote with your dollars and your feet!

gay reasoning

if you don't like the risk of owning a microwave, don't buy one.

Microwave ovens are advertised to cook food, not peel back your face by exploding as you use it.  I don't mind owning a microwave oven, since I intended to use it for cooking food; however, I never wanted to get a "face-flesh removal device", and as can be clearly confirmed, the microwave oven was never advertised as such.

There is a nice parking lot in DC. It is located in a bad neighborhood and only has enough spaces for a couple dozen cars, but the owner sits on the hood of his jeep with a shotgun. Its a bit more expensive than most of the parking garages around, but I feel the cost is worth it. The lot is surrounded by a 12 foot fence and covered with razor wire. Also did I mention the owner sits on the hood of his jeep with a fucking shotgun?

If those multi-storey carparks employed some guy who sits on the hood of his jeep with a fucking shotgun the world would be better place.

They would probably need to hire a guy for every level. Which would just be even cooler.

Don't change these.
