Now, now, that's rather harsh on them (on the Democrats, that is).

You want the future or the past? In 1994 Labour comes to power, in 1996 an ideological revolutionary thought sweeps the nation.
Fairness for all, and the idea of why should people pay to live?
The old boring, and quite frankly useless politicians are dropped a new middle society is formed from what has been a disastrous rule from the Tories.
Why the fuck should you pay to live, why in fucking fact anyone?

But you're trolling, right? Right. IHBT, never mind.

I fully agree! And we should enslave the productive people to pay for us leechs!
And lets of course import lots of muslims because they can be trusted to vote for us! Of course lets just ignore the fact that when the muslims become a majority in an area they vote for MUSLIM candidates who have nothing to do with the communist vermin labour.
But hey you are all libtards living in fantasy worlds so who gives a fuck.

Grow up
Everyone is equal...you are no better than the man next to you and to think you are makes you less.
Muslims? By far Christianity is the worst; it is an economical fantasy for those who are easily confused between realism and religious divinity.
All roads lead to communism; or a future fair for all
Left & Right wing are just empty words which come forth from some frog revolution.
We have more variation now.
In the middle there are liberals[they claim center--> 'the middle way'] (or libertarians, depends on where you live, for some reason).
They can always hide behind a faceless ideology called 'free market'.
It is pretty convenient if you can also imply that all these technological improvements are here thanks to competition and low trading bariers.
The fact of the matter is that we are a high-technological society and therefore must run as one.
That will not be possible if you have high staff with an incredibly high bonus.
On the other side you have, working people who lose their jobs to improve flexibility.
The issue is power.
Where is power?
In the hands of *enter political party/multinational here* or in the hands of anon?
Read something about anarchism or check some Noam Chomsky.

I'd rather they leech of me than having them die. At the same time, I would prefer a system where they get paid the bare minimum and have compulsory community service in exchange for welfare payments.
Capitalism is a flawed system - even if everyone worked as hard as they could and were as productive as they could be, there would always be people at the bottom suffering. A light form of socialism is the best way to go - let the enterprising people get rich quick as usual, but siphon away just a little to support the suffering people at the bottom.

Ah the wonders of the world as we know it; and the failures of mankind it provides.
How many of you strive for peace? Or have the wish for the recall of arms and a truce to spread? Better yet, how do you the person, see that view? Unachievable? Fanatical? No
Corruption is a disease in every man. Money, power, etc the roots of these go deep into the belief of our ancestors. The desire for more, better, and unlimited power to dominate others.
Neither wing can solve this, however, why has a government not set up a fairer system? It is possible, technology of advancing proportion for crops, food, water, etc and you cannot deny this.
We, mankind, strive for the earnings of yes 'money'. The value of a man (or so it may seem). Why must we suffer to this system? A system that oppressive and uses others for the gaining of a self interest.
Look up Buddhism in more depth, enlightenment, etc. Not magic, not myth, not spiritual crap. The fairer future, logic is key, neither wing can work; money is useless and mankind is doomed to fail within the box it has created without action.

Right Wing, Conservative.
For the simple fact that I don't think that Government doesn't have the right to embody progress itself, but it should only create conditions for progress, that is to say, the State is suposed to be pragmatic; State solves concrete problems in society, that is to say, it's competes to the ''People'' to handle progress, this is, private enterprise, scientists, thinkers, artists, philosophers. All of those have the right to earn the rewards of their own merit, as in fact, the only thing that should condition your rise in society should be yourself.
In the Right Wing, I don't think that everyone should be born on the same conditions, but everyone should be evaluated under the same conditions; your economic conditions at birth shouldn't influence your career, only your proficiency at what you do.
It is not fair to create the same social and economical conditions to everyone simply because we are all different; some of us deserve better, others deserve worse, others deserve different, and so on. Society needs to have margin for all kinds of different people possible, and in fact, the State does not have the right to condition in any way your path. The only situation where the State has the right to influence how you live is when you do not work in according to Society's rules.
As Aristotle said, Man is a Political being. Part of what makes us human is essentially our ability to stablish connections with others, and create culture, and a society. From the moment you do not contribute in the construction of society, that is, if you start breaking rules, or destroying the structures that support it, you lose the right to participate or earn anything through it.
In fact, if you disagree with the way things are established, you have the right to question, not destroy them. It is through civic participation, through citizenship, and through the quality of your work that you should change society, due to the simple fact that any attack that you do to Society as a hole has repercussions in the people that are in it.
And this is the essence of Conservatism; Society is structured in a way that you shouldn't attack and destroy, but that you can question and reform through YOUR own work.
The Left Wing state wants to embody merit itself, and wants to give people what they need. I'd rather having people able enough to create for themselves what they need, and answering their own needs.

Who says American society is over-providing welfare? In New Zealand, from whence I come, we have a majority neo-liberal/leftist ideological pattern that we have followed for the past 20 or so years, and the government provides health insurance- For Free!... unlike you guys having to pay for insurance of every kind and have overly competitive markets dominating every aspect of your lives... there is little government control which results in some greedy douchebag taking the power away.

Do you hate nonwhites? Do you feel it is your right to tell others how they should live? Do you believe in your freedom to deny the freedom of others?
Most of all, do you believe equality is a myth?
Then you should be a conservative/right winger.
If you have a brain and are not motivated by the sins of hate, pride, and greed, you are either a left winger or a centrist (you are also a member of the majority of the population if you live in America, Australia or the UK).

The Nanny State is a Socialist creation, and there is naught of the "right wing" about it. Try again.
And yes, equality is a myth. All men are not equal in height, in strength, in age, in intellect. In what trait are all men equal? Can someone show it to me? It flies in the face of reason. It is a laughable claim.
