Martin Luther King .org

I think this site is really ingenious in how it combines facts and political perspective and tries to name the site so kids searching the internet for information on MLK will come across it thinking it's a legitimate site when really it's just political perspective on top of facts (unpreferable facts about MLK).

I think it's more likely that others change the perception of his ways than he himself authentically changing what he had done.

King had his faults and as rational and learned men, we should not shy from knowing and discussing them.  King had his failsome moments.  He also fought a significant racial war and that tends to lift him up in stature as a man.  If you don't like King for one reason or another, then that's your nut; however, you can't deny King's basic strength of character as well evidenced in at least his "Letter From Birmingham Jail".

Still, all this "MLK Avenue" crap going on across America is really getting out of hand.  It's well known by now that if your street has "MLK" in its name, it's not safe to walk around there at night (sometimes, the day too).  Surely there are better ways to honor King's work and sacrifice, other than naming heavy crime zones after him.

It's a reminder that civil rights created more problems than solutions, just like South Africa post-Apartheid.

Niggers can't govern themselves.

At least MX had the balls to say what he really felt about whites instead of being a pansy Gandhi throwback.

Don't change these.
