You guys realize Ron Paul voted against all the congressional medals awarded to religious leaders, he was merely pointing out that they went through, right?
In fact when it came to giving a medal to Regan, Ron Paul refused to vote for it (despite being one of Reagan's 4 earliest supporters) and instead proposed that every member of congress give $100 of their own money towards paying for it. Ron Paul was the only member of congress who actually donated that money.
