Education

Here are some wonderful quotes concerning "education" as most people view it.

Education is something that schooling gets in the way of.

Most people are under the false impression that education and schooling are synonymous.

Just say no to schooling and drugs. Go out and actually learn things instead of pretending to learn things.

Don't get a piece of paper that tricks people into thinking you're smart. Actually become smart.

Why are our children being forced against their will with threat of imprisonment to go to crappy public schools that brainwash them, teach them how to have sex and do drugs, and ruin any potential they had at becoming smart, reasonable people?

The 5 GED (General Educational Development) tests represent what an average American high school graduate should be able to answer. Yet studies have shown average high school graduates when tested have failed the GED tests. Ironically some of its critics who likely have never seen the test refer to it as "too easy".

Education as most people view it unfortunately does not represent a person's knowledge or effort. What it does represent is who had the most money to buy the best degrees from the best universities.

they're (or we're as I'm stuyding in a university, too) not more intelligente but better educated
the difference is that someone who has gone through those 4 years trained the stuff he's supposed to do a little bit and knows where to look when searching for more information
there's no doubt that you could mix some new chemicals or whatsoever but you would need much more time until you're finished
an employer doesn't want his employees to learn the basics when they're supposed to work on the product
