Look up conservative, I don't think people really know what it means anymore. Here's a hint, all those "conservative republicans" aren't really conservative, they're all big government fucks. Ron Paul is a conservative, and the historical definition of republican.

Learn something. "Neoconservatives," what the fuck?

Only a conservative could be indignant about the fact that the meaning of words change over time. gb2 springfield mr Burns

Only a troll would readily and constantly change the definition of words to cause all rational debate to grind to a halt.

Yeah, Regan, both Bushes, Pat Robertson, and others have co-opted the term conservative to mean something totally different now.  I'd like to consider myself a conservative, but I don't agree with a lot of what modern conservatives are doing.

What you mean is Paleoconservative.

If the "Paleoconservatives" want to really make me believe they aren't like the Neo-Cons like Bush, Cheney, Feith, Rumsfeld, Rice and all the rest, they really need to stop voting for the muthafuckas.  "Real Conservatives" would have been voting for the Libertarian and Nader tickets in droves in 2004.

"But -- oh, Oh, OH!  KERRY was running in 2004!  Well, we couldn't risk getting THAT guy in office, could we!"  So millions of Conservatives proved they had as little moral foundation as Liberals, by voting for the candidate that had the best chance of winning ... instead of voting for the person who best reflected their politics.  Shame on you, Cons.

Nobody votes for third party candidates because nobody thinks they're going to win. It isn't about your moral fiber, it's about trying to get the guy closest to your beliefs into the White House who actually has a chance of winning. That's besides the fact many Americans have become complacent because it is incredible hard to tell the real difference between the two parties anymore.

Although I've never voted for Bush, I don't look down upon those that did the FIRST time he ran. He did so with a campaign of non-intervention (kind of) and humble foreign affairs. He almost sounded like a traditional conservative. So much for that eh?

Paleoconservative? Christ man, don't invent a new word to take the definition of one that already exists. That's the attitude that got us to this point to begin with.

Conservatism has been dead for thirty years.  Neo-Conservatism is what is saving America from Liberalism and Socialism.

Pat Buchanan is a raving old man, Ron Paul is a conspiracy theorist.  Only the neocons can save us from the furry menace.

Neoconservatisim is just as bad as Liberalism and Socialism, hell, even as bad as Communism.

How is neoconservatism just as bad as liberalism?

Don't change these.
