White people aren't superior *proof*

From the 1850s - 1950s white people were responsible for a range of invention.  Then things kinda slowed down and for all intents and purposes not to much has been developed in the past 60 years.  Microwaves and the internet were developed about 50 years ago.


If white people are so smart, we would have kept up with the pace of invention.  Instead, you have nerds spending hours on WOW and online flash games.

All that's "proof" of is that the Western World hasn't faced annihilation for a few decades. 

1850's - 1918 - Empires competing, jingoism, WWI

1918-1945 - Huge flu epidemic, Great Depression, rise of totalitarianism, WWII

1945-1970 - Soviet standoff, nuclear arms race, space race.

Then the hippie movement started, the brains of a generation left science for self-enlightenment, and the Cold War settled into something approaching stability.  We haven't really been threatened since - except perhaps by oil shocks, but even those weren't endangering our nations to the same degree. 

When powerful nations are waging war and fighting for survival, people get creative.
