What are the chances of you being drafted when you turn 20-26 if you were born from 1980 to 1990? Do you project it to be higher or lower than, say, if you were born in 2007 and 20 or something years down the road, the US will be involved in a major war or something?

There's probably no more than a 1% chance of ever being drafted. Everyone in the military hates the idea of the draft because it brings in people who don't want to serve (read: bad soldiers). The draft is just a bullshit idea politicians spew out their asses to stir up a commotion to confuse people so they won't focus on all the fuck ups and abuses their elected officials have been making.

Since we haven't been to war in hundreds of years I'd say it's pretty low.
