Suicide bombers?

okay so this might not fit in politics but it's as close as i can get.

what is the deal with -suicide- bombers? why not just -regular- bombings? if the goal is to kill infidels, why not just get on that bus, leave a backpack with a -timer- in it, and go. that way you can bomb even -more- infidels later. maybe even rack up a few more virgins in heaven. is there some particular reason for it?

Good obersavtion, i think my therory behind it is that people who are (or where) suicide bommers show that they will sacrafice so much for a such a cause to benifit something else. that or there children got raped and killed by americans and when crazy enough to kill themselves.
