flat tax benefits everyone.

which is why the rich dont want it...

but a flat tax makes everyone pay 10% right?
so wouldnt that hurt the working poor class more than the rich?

the poor pay more taxes than the rich at this moment. the rich claim more taxes back than the poor which means they in fact pay less tax than the poor.

flat tax cant be escaped that easily. but wait and see. if introduced those fuckers in charge will ensure their "buddies" know how to scam the new system.

damn straight... i think that if you make over 1million a year, that at least 5,000 dollars should be paid to charities or something. but not given to the government... thats when we become democratic.

very few (too few) big money earners already contribute up to 25% of their takings to to charity.

too bad there arent more of them...

Name: Anonymous 2007-05-01 2:21 ID:YXnDgniZ

yeah there are those few that are kind enough to share what the same people gave them.
if that makes any sense

People should pay taxes representative of what they use from the government. The rich need more law enforcement and utilities for their assets and the poor can keep their money in securities then thy only pay tax indirectly through the business's expenses. This way the rich won't exhaust enormous amounts of resources on silly whims and a person can save money if they want without tax, the tax system will be correlated with reality.

>>8 that would become hard for the government officials to calculate and it would be easy to scam taxes.
this would later start putting enormous pressure on the government to come up with the necessary funds to effectively run this democracy.
but it is a good idea. it is much like communism in that respect.

isnt this already happening? years of scamming and now everyone has to pay for the scams of the few?

moving on before i start sounding like a star trek episode...

Name: Anonymous 2007-05-01 2:55 ID:YXnDgniZ

nah its all good. it may be like this. but due to my underexposure to the outside world... i would not be able so give any say on why or how this is happening.
