Their home-grown companies put themselves willingly at the feet of Microsoft, and instead of just moving way from Microsoft products, they hold up Microsoft with a shive in their back and force them to empty their wallets to pay for Eu commissioners' private planes and for pensions for every other person alive in Europe.

Europe, you're a petty group of people, with no backbone to speak of, you didn't even say "thank you" for us saving you from Hitler, and you think that the very socialist construct that fell apart right next to you is your salvation, all the while, handing over what pitiful excuses for culture you have - your one and fleeting redeeming quality to mullahs and over to sharia law where its okay to have a North African beat their wife today, and where it will be against the law to have any freedom of speech left fairly soon, lest you draw a cartoon of that camel jockey, Muhammed!

and on top of all that, you're fscking up your entire continent with driving restrictions such that soon, the only markets for your cars will be in America, since you won't be allowed to drive anything but Fiats and even those won't be allowed to go 40 kph.

Yeah, except the 'second front' was only opened  up after all the major battles of the eastern front (which dwarfed any on the western front) had been fought. The reality is that Stalin saved us from Hitler, as the vast majority of German forces fought on the eastern front in WW2. To Americas credit, they did save Europe from Stalin however.

All that aside, your petty nationalism only reveals the very root of why we laugh at Americans. You sit there at your computer, wanking on about how 'great' your country is compared with other countries, when the fact is that your country would fuck you over in a SECOND.

Now I'm not saying that isn't the case here; it is, albeit to a lesser extent. But the point is we're smart enough to realise it. Europeans talk shit about Europe and it's governments/nations all the time, because we know that being in love with the state is a sad and pathetic existence. It's a means to an end, and a decent system to live in, but we don't owe it shit.

Then we hear you Americans (not all of you, but a large portion) banging on about how great your country is, and wonderful it is, when we know that just like all other nation-states it is no more than a system designed to support some people by exploiting other people. America is really no worse a place than Europe; there are pros & cons. What sucks is that you're so up yourself about how you happened to be born within a certain set of legal boundaries which are purely conceptual and totally meaningless.

I don't 'believe in' my country, and neither should you. Get over it douche.
