Political movements are for the thoughtless, obedient and angry. Rebels against the regular thoughtless, obedient and apathetic crowd.

Now, it would really be something to be thoughtful, disobedient, and caring. Then you've got some kinda "messiah"  on your hands. A ghandian figure if you will.
