A 90 year old political movie

They pol, what the fcuk? I watched Bowling for Columbine and it convinced me that guns were good, or didnt make me hate them like everyone says it should. Mainly because Moore in the film is like "Well, so and so place has more guns than anywhere but it doesnt have the crime the US has! So it must be something else besides guns that makes us violent..." And basically none of the other points in the movie made me anti-gun...so what was the point of the movie anyway?

Watch it again.  Moore doesn't blindly attack America in the film.  He doesn't attack the 2nd Amendment either, contrary to what some think.  He refuted a lot of the arguments from all sides on the question of "Why did Columbine happen."  I think he set out with the intention of debunking both the "because they listened to Marilyn Manson and played Doom" as well as the "because Americans have too many guns" myths.

Bowling for Columbine was an excellent film.  Too bad he later ruined his credibility by opening his mouth and letting sensationalism and spin enter into Feirenheit 9/11.
