What percent of Brits are nationalists? A large majority of those I've spoken to online are biased nationalists, but is it just because biased people flock to popular disussion boards to complain, while rational people stay away from teh internets?

it's more likely for stupid people to be nationalists, because they feel that being a part of a larger group is what defines their worth as a person. oh, and everyone has a bias, including you
Obviously not, as the UN has pussification measures in place to make sure nothing gets done, which is widely abused by the US to protect terrorists like Israel.
nationalism is for the 20th century.
globalism is the ism of the moment, but it's full of aids just like every other ism.

The UN's purpose is to declare who is a country and who isn't. Some rebels in the hills demand their right to national self-determination? No problem, just whine in the UN, they'll never get recognition and your soldiers will be contented to continue to rape their children and tax them into the ground without consequence.

Newsflash buddy boy, sovereignty is something other nations must recognize, the UN has nothing to fucking do with the declaration of sovereignty, take for example Taiwan, which for all intents and purposes behaves like a sovereign nation, the US treats it like it is a sovereign nation, China views it as it's province.
You can go complain about the ineffectiveness of the UN all you want, but you need to recognize the UN has no power because it is given none, and no nation on earth will submit to international action by CONSENSUS when they can flex their nuts and call it within their sovereign right to invade some neighboring country.

I dunno, the UN is sometimes given power, when its mandates fall in line with the interests of its most influential member nations

Why did you think I didn't know that? Read my argument again, I clearly stated that the tyranny had control over the UN. The UN "declares" who is a nation and who isn't, it doesn't make the decisions of course.

England is soon to become mostly asian and black. I.e not white and british, I kid you guys not. I think englnad is the first nation to have this happen.
So nationalism is pretty low. Everyone just wants benifits, nobody could care about the country.
I thought it was a good point that nationalism makes you proud of stuff you didn't do, and causes racism. Personally, I'm rooting for United Earth once the nationalists get over their confrontation trip with hybridity and join the real, sensible people. =)
