No where in scientific history has this ever been suggested. It only affects the area coverred in thousands of tons of ice. The regions with the highest soil fertility in the world are found in the tropics which was why europeans were so eager to leave their harsh environment and grow crops elsewhere. Tropicals regions are also blessed with wider bio-diversity, making it an agricultural paradise.
