Defining something logically is the shortest way to communicate a point. Don't bother with evoking emotions, bigotry, pride or anything which doesn't have anything to do with the point you are putting across.
Use clear cut unambiguous straight to the point terms so no one can whine about semantics.
Take points everyone agrees with and describe how they prove your point.
Address all criticism. If you feel someone is nitpicking, even if they are trolling they can nitpick because your argument is not unambiguous and they can prey on the small communicative errors you left out. To begin with the troll will cause you to type out a lot, but as time goes on all you have to do is copy paste arguments he is ignoring.
Most of all don't let pride get in the way and refuse to admit you are wrong even when you have been logically disproved.
You can then save your point onto notepad and copy paste it later.
