Free to Choose

I found a great set of videos done by the famous economist Milton Friedman.  They were broadcast on TV a few decades ago as I understand it.  There are 10 episodes, enjoy.

Im not >>8 but the gold standard can't work anymore, we need it for industry. The item you backup your currency with must always and only be a luxury item; gold is more then that now, just look at the electronics in the medical industry. Some say silver could make a comeback but I don’t think it has high enough objective value for this role, however if it were up to me I would go with diamonds or other precious stones
