None. They all agree they don't like the dark, but they're too afraid of what might happen if light were to enter the room.

Illuminating a room is a step down the slippery slope to igniting the entire room in order to get things really illuminated. Sure, one could put faith in people to not take one good step as encouragement to go too far in that direction but what do you do when you are scared, privileged and hierarchical!
