Sweden is socialist, and not too shabby, and we have recently elected some liberals to improve things a little. Socialism is not fascism, since the voters can give the idea of government control of some financial transactions the finger in democratic elections. We can tell our government to stop the alcohol monopoly anytime we want. Voluntary fascism is an oxymoron.
