Christianity, easily. Covers some half of Africa, came from the Middle East. Currently infests a billion minds.
Followed by Islam. Covers just about the rest of Africa, came from the Middle East. Still pesters the area. Currently infests a billion minds.

So if we get rid of all the Christians and Islams in the world, the world will be a btter place?
Actually, since both religions are so prejudicial, I'd say yeah.

The Middle East is worse right now, but give it time. In 30 years, when all the African nations have finally settled in, it'll be a hotbed of terrorism, nuclear proliferation, and ethnic violence that could put the fertile crescent to shame.

No no no, Africa is worse and it always will be. There's a reason it's a dark continent. Despite how fucking big it is, nothing good has ever come from Africa.
The middle east, however, brought us a shit ton of culture and advances in mathematics. Also, middle eastern women can be pretty damn hot. African women will never be hot. The middle east has a shit ton of oil. Africa has monkeys, aids, and malayria.

We just have to persuade as many people as possible not to be prejudiced. After all if everyone in a democracy wanted tyranny, democracy would die anyway, so I fail to see how oppressing those who wish to oppress has any effect.

Problem is that superstitions like those two not only allow but call for wars against unbelieving thought criminals.
Put simply: Christianity and Islam won't allow unbelievers in their own faith to believe what they want. Christianity won't allow non-Christianity, least of all Islam. And vice versa.
I know Christianity has shaped up somewhat lately, since priests no longer have power. Problem is, Islam is rising to take its place. In all the wrong places.
