What's the point of conservatism?

If one tries to keep everything the same how can there be any improvement?

Social conservatives are despicable people who aren't prepared for their own freedoms or thosee of others. They're problem is psychological, egocentric and parochial - they couldn't care less about the stability of society. Fiscal conservatives are mostly a good bunch but they have a bunch of retards among their ranks - the same way balanced social liberals have socialists among them - for example the former.
