My plan for winning the War

Iraq is a giant shit-fest.  Everyone knows that, but for some fucking reason they can't fix it.  I have a plan.

Train more snipers.
They don't have to be the best in the world, they just need to be useable.  Their only orders should be:
(If they're not an ally) Shoot anyone who is carrying a gun.


There's no reason we should be having such a hard time with this war.  For having the most powerful military in the world we're doing the shittiest job ever of exterminating a ragtag force of poorly trained, poorly equiped, underpaid, rebels.  Fucking kill shit.

*Note:  I don't condone killing civilians or barbarism.  But if we're going to get anything done in that quagmire we need to be ruthless with the people who are attacking out troops.

My plan: Loot valuables & oil and then get the hell out.

I should also add that I'm not against the idea of hiring professional assassins for the sake of killing the top officials and leaders of enemy militias and rebels.

They needed to flatten areas of Iraq...but can you imagine the tree huggers and how they would react to that? Stop the BS and kick some ass...get it over with.

Collaborate with the local clerics. Basically tell them democracy is about giving power to the people, their people. This way even though the different groups hate america, the totalitarian groups can be singled out by Iraqis and pacified with the aid of the US military.

You can't intimidate someone who's in his own lands surrounded by the people and families he marries and baptises.

We are 'pwn1ng teh $h1tx0r outta tehm' and it isn't fucking working, partly because we already done took the country.  And we can't extend our presence without more boots on the ground. But Bush won't start a draft during his own term because his people are more concerned with winning the Republicans the next Presidental election, than with winning America the Iraq war.

You know what's killing US soldiers by the truckload? It ain't guns, mate. It IEDs. Let me repeat that: Improvised Explosive Devices. In crowded towns in inconventient locations, okay? They're not walking around out in the open with huge signs saying "I'M THE BAD GUY!"

So the fucking snipers are going to be sitting there doing nothing while any poor sod who gets sent in down town in some convoy will get turned into fried grease by a shaped charge. They already have fucking choppers following these guys in, but it does them no good.
