How do you beet the Military Draft?

You know, we're running out of troops for Iraq..  and Iran's next on the agenda.  The draft's coming..  how do I beet it?

Conscription is currently an unfavorably thought of thing, if Bush goes against custom and enforces one - what makes you think he'll impose an age limit lower than the current maximum volunteering age? The oldest age you can volunteer at is in the mid 30's, I think.

26 is a pipe dream. The possible draft age could be 18-42. Get a GPS thingy, and make sure the Latitude is larger than 50. But go south, I don't want your pansy ass here in Canadia.

You have to be a citizen or a legal resident.  But they're pretty lenient on even that these days.  You can't fill quotas by lowering standards forever.

Would a US citizen living in Europe be drafted?

Become a conscientous objector.  There's a process to doing it, which you can research on your own.  It's not 100% but it might be enough for a judge to just say "screw it kid, just go home."

we'll only be drafting lawyers this time. Since they volunteered  to take every last step to court, they're the only ones we need to defend us.

Ummmm...don't worry about a draft for now?

Previously, Bush wouldn't put a draft into effect because he knew it would be political suicide. But how long they can ignore the numbers?  Fuck if I know. Maybe until after the next election, if the republicans win.  I would have joined for Kerry.  I might still join for the sake of Korea/Japan/East Asia.

But Bush, Iraq, Iran, and the Middle East can all go fuck themselves.  I don't want any part of anything to do with of any of them.

I joined the Army a few weeks after 9/11.  No big deal.

canada is no longer an option. they'll arrest you at the border if a draft in enstated.

best way? either change your religion fast to be a conciencious objector, or get very fat. they wont use you if you're unfit to do the work.
