Your stance on illegal aliens

Name: Anonymous 2006-10-08 6:35

First, let me give you some background on my situation. My parents came to this country, illegally, and brought me along. I was only like 2-3 years old at the time, so I had no say in the matter. Needless to say, my life has been so fucked up ever since I turned 16. For all of the people around me, turning 16 meant getting a drivers license and a job. Me? I couldn't do either. Two years later, graduation. For everyone else, it's off to a university. Me? Crappy community college because I wasn't accepted into any universities as a result of my status.

I feel like my life is on hold because of all the limitations that are imposed upon me. I know that some of you are probably asking, "Why don't you go back to your country?", but I feel like this IS my country. I've lived here practically my whole life and know no other way of life. To tell you the truth, I think I'd be so lost and depressed if I were to be taken away from the way of life that I've grown accustomed to.

I'll be the first to admit that my parents were wrong for coming here illegally. They broke the law. It wasn't fair for them to skip ahead of all of those people that were trying to get here legally. But at the same time, the system that is in place right now is so fucked up that if I were in the same situation, I'd probably do the same thing. The long waiting period, the ridiculous amount of money needed, all the paper work who even the people who wrote it probably don't understand. It's all fucked up.

So, what's your opinion on this whole thing? Are you against the presence of illegal aliens, for it, or just don't give a fuck?

You know damn well that the entire illegal alien issue in America today is centered around people coming from Mexico and other southern countries.

The whole "I didn't say that!" arguement is childish and obnoxious.  Say what you mean and mean what you say.  Coming to an anonymous discussion forum and then asking for opinions on a topic that (at this time) revolves around immigrants from South American countries and then not expecting anyone to make assumptions about your ethnicity is retarded.  Now GTFO!

Name: Anonymous 2006-10-12 22:05

>>43 Agreed.

Name: Anonymous 2006-10-12 22:13

People who come up with retarded arguments did it because they know they are WRONG.

Name: Anonymous 2006-10-14 19:32

It's based on assumptions. "Lol you assumed I was Mexican," usually makes people believe that he isn't, when he obviously never said that he wasn't before he responded.

Tell your alien brother, that Hitler thinks urgey.

Name: Anonymous 2006-10-14 22:09

Name: Anonymous 2006-10-15 1:00

AM I RACIST YET?

Name: Anonymous 2006-10-15 4:49

That being said, >>1 broke the law when he was extremely young, and it was not of his own volition. Should he still be punished for something he has no control over? Should this punishment go on for so long? Is it common practice to lawfully punish children as young as two for crimes in the United States? While >>1's parents are most definately in the wrong, is >>1 also guilty? By association?

Whenever people claim that some political issue is so simple, you need to wonder how much thought they devote to the issue, or the people involved. Dictating from the sidelines is one thing, personal experience is something completely different.

Why is being sent back to Mexico a punishment? He can speak english and assumingly also spanish and he has had an american education, he can get a job there.

Sorry, but many people no longer feel that the purpose of the US is to accomodate immigrants. Those left in poorer countries will just have to change their own countries instead of fleeing. Legal immigration only, thanks.

To Anti-Chan(57)
       Yes, Simply that...
Because even though 51 stated that it is easy to delegate from the sidelines its the proper way to do it getting in their wth emotional imbalnce clouds judgement, thusly impeding proper dictation from the law!!!

Name: Anonymous 2006-10-18 3:58

law in its soul, naked, unmasqueraded self-proclomation is...
BLACK & WHITE no gray areas where exceptions can be made not even for those who are forced against there will...

ignorance of he law is no excuse for breaking the law!!!

"Ignorance of the law is no excuse for breaking the law"

Spoken like a true facist. Ignorance is about the only excuse in matters like these. We're not discussing murder here.

"Because even though 51 stated that it is easy to delegate from the sidelines its the proper way to do it getting in their wth emotional imbalnce clouds judgement, thusly impeding proper dictation from the law!!!"

You're only saying this because you think your "judgement" is right. Sorry: But is NOT.

Name: Anonymous 2006-10-18 4:06

murder. Immigration.
whats the difference...

I'd like you to explain the outcome if this was to be handled by our border patrol...

I'll boil it down to the photo-finish for those only interested in the climax of a story... You come in to any country illegally GTFO, the only reason we cant get them to fuck out is because of people who center around the personal attachments theses people have with others and themselves... Im telling you know the one way mankind will destroy itself is through paving the road to hell with empathy... World needs more apathy!!!

Liberals seem to use that argument a lot. That people should be excused for committing certain crimes. The people of the US, many of them immigrants or 1st generation immigrants, voted that there be a cap to the amount of immigration to the country. That means illegal immigration is a crime. If they wanted more immigration they would make their views known and the political parties would promies to increase LEGAL immigration.

I\'m sorry you have to be \"punished\" by going to live in Mexico, but people in the US value a high standard of living. Maybe when the world realises overpopulation and rapid population growth decreases the GDP per capita and that this is wrong we will allow more immigration.

Name: Anonymous 2006-10-18 16:11

There is just too fucking many poor people in the world, the USA can't fucking take all of them.  Even if we took in a hundred million a year, we wouldn't put a dent in the population of the 3rd world, while we would simultaneously have a huge decrease in standard of living, and would have a huge impact on the lives of americans already here legally.

Name: Anonymous 2006-10-18 23:25

The solution to poverty is the new world order. We must get rid of the world\'s tyrants since they are the real thieves forcing people into poverty.

Your statement is ludacriss at the least.

You stated that your here Illegally, well then, You moron,

"YOU BROKE THE LAWS OF THIS COUNTRY, THIS LAND, THIS NATION,BY COMING HERE ILLEGALLY.  IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU SAY, AS YOU STATE:

""Also, just because someone is an illegal alien does not mean they are criminals and/or freeloaders. Not once have I broken the law or been affiliated with any gangs and the only "freeloading".

Your statement reminds me of a person I once heard speak about killing his family.

He stated that he only killed 4 out of the 6 of his family members, so why are people saying he killed his family.

Listen you moron, if you came here to this country, without the right or permission, then you are a criminal and YOU HAVE BROKEN LAWS, OUR LAWS, LAWS AGAINST OUR CONSTITUTION, OUR NATION, OUR SOVERIENGTY, ETC...

By the way, if your so law abiding, have you turned in your parents yet????

Or are you one of millions, like the catholic church for example, that harbors criminals for your own profit or personal advantage???

It is simple to all those half-way, educated, law abiding, people. But those that are used to stealing from others, etc.. to get what they want, well, it is just another way of living for them.

They will never and have never, been people of respectibility, honor, diginty, etc...

They will always be those low lifes that the world has to put up with, or atleast until their caught.

If you had developed a vast amount of relationships with people (friends, for example), and you became comfortable in where you are, would you object to being forcibly repatriated to Mexico? If you escaped a life and took refuge in the US, where media and the government constantly parade it as being the land of opportunity, would you object to being forcibly repatriated to Mexico? Perhaps you have a girlfriend/boyfriend, would you object to being forcibly parted from them?

Too many people are saying "it's black and white, he came here illegally, he should be removed." But nothing is simply black and white. He came here as an infant, he grew up with Americans, he probably even gave the oath at the start of every day/week in school. He's a product of the American school system, he theoretically has the same education until tertiary level as the rest of the country. He grew up as an American. His parents might've kept their culture running through him, but he's probably just as American as the rest of you. His only problem is he doesn't have a piece of paper saying he's allowed to be in the US.

Yes, being repatriated to Mexico might even be good for him, but that should be for him to decide. Not the state.

It comes down to this: Should we punish children for the mistakes of their parents?

So how do we deter illegal immigration so that we don\'t have to force people to repatriate?
