dude omg bush sucks wtf
i have an extreme dislike for bush, whereas i have more of a lukewarm dislike for kerry. i kind of like that bush got reelected so that he can end on the worst note possible and the dems can make a decent comeback (hopefully). as long as the pres is reasonable and willing to change their mind after significant evidence is placed against their view, then i dont have much of a problem with them. mccain, for example, i think would be a pretty good president. besides his bush ass kissing, he's a cool dude. hilary, no, i dont like her much at all. i hope the dems get majority in congress though. for the most part, republican federal congressmen or fucking nuts.
basically, in 08, if its mccain or another cool rep. vs. hilary or liberman or a pussy ass liberal, i'll vote republican. if its a neo-conservative bush-lover, i'll pretty much unerringly vote democrat. if it is two reasonable candidates, i'll most likely vote democrat. obviously this is a generalization, but yeah.
Why not vote independent and show the political hacks, politicals sheep, and all those that are selling out america, that your not to stupid to waste your vote and fall for the same old crap.

I disagree with every political candidate, but I still vote and I make it clear to whom I have voted for what I disagree with.

LOL.
Bush and Kerry are both members of the Skull and Bones. You think it would've made a difference who you voted for?

I wish, voting for who I want I would most likely vote Libertarian. But, I don't like throwing my vote away, so I vote for the best choice from D or R. If we had a run-off system like some countries do where if your first choice does not get a certain percentage or above then they take your second choice etc., which I am all for, then I would vote Libertarian first, Green second, then whichever of the two main ones to fall back on.

Voting for the main parties is an example of throwing your vote away, not voting 3rd party.
>>12 Thirded. If there are any texans out there... Please. In the name of all -I mean all- that is generally good... Vote Kinky. Vote Kinky. Vote Kinky Friedman. I'm actually begging you.

I understand your argument, my ultragreen brother tells me it all the time, but I disagree. I don't see the US becoming a 3+ party system unless we get employ run-off ballots.
Anyway, It looks like the Democrats could come up with someone good this time. The guy from New Mexico that's running, I like him.

I saw a black, democratic woman congressman from Texas on CSPAN the other day. I thought I was in the twilight zone. She was cool.

>>15 Porkbarrel republicans are being ousted in favor of real conservatives, democrats are realizing that being a party of discontent is not enough. Time to castrate the christianists and the CIA.
Big deal, so they listen to your complaints about what you don't believe in, who cares, because they know, in the end, THAT YOUR NOTHING BUT A BIG, STUPID SHEEP THAT THEY CAN COUNT ON.
If someone said to you, for example, that they don't like the car you drove, but in the end, they gave you a million dollars, would you care what they thought?
No, because your getting exactly what you want and all they are providing is lip service.
PLEASE DON'T BE THAT STUPID. VOTE RIGHT, NOT AS A SHEEP.

I guess you aren't going to respond to my well thought out argument about porkchop sandiwches. You FAGGOT!

>>16 The republicans offered a measure that would allow for the reduction of pork-barrel spending known as the line-item veto act. This measure was largely supported by republicans, and largely opposed by democrats. If I'm not mistaken, it failed, and got shot down thanks to leftist politicians.

Oh wow, such a balanced take. Yes, it would help reduce pork barrel spending, at the cost of giving the executive branch way too much power and violation the United States Constitution. Hmm...

Oh, and by the way, it passed, and was later overturned by the Supreme Court, not leftist politicians, moron.

>>25 When you're not on the internet, this sort of retort would cause exclamations of "Oh- SNAP!!". Now I can just bump and give internets and such malarkye. I guess democrats cared more about the constitution that time around as well.
