Countries can coexist fine with a Jewish population for one hundred to two hundred years. After a certain time, the parent country as a whole realises "it's time for you to go" and casts out the Jews, in the same way that a homeless stranger being cared for in someone's house has overstayed their welcome.

Although true England had expelled the jews several times in the middle ages (having been grouped with gypsies), they were invited back in and encouraged to stay during the dictatorship of Oliver Cromwell (a puritan) in the 17th century. They have stayed in England ever since.
